“Connected Space” department in the Ecobusiness Division develops Energy Efficiency Solutions for small/medium non-critical buildings. The solutions involve controllers, metering, sensors & actuators of lighting & room control and air quality through various types of building automation protocols.
Responsibilities & Key Tasks
- Develop software applications
- Writing software specifications with respect to client’s needs and company systems
- Suggest product / system evolution
- Manage technical change, bugs and problem solution on the SW level
- Able to rapidly handle new offers / new technologies
- Participation in solution set up and verification testing
- Contribute to Test bench specification
- Support Technical Writer
- Keep time and budget in mind
Qualifications & Competencies
- 5 years experience in building system integration
- Good knowledge of field buses as KNX, LON, Modbus, DALI, etc.
- Programming competency in LUA, C++, C#, Linux, Java is nice to have
- Information technology knowledge
- Advanced user of computer systems (MS office)
- Willingness to learn other software
- Communication skills
- Good English mandatory (spoken, written)
- Education with technical focus - informatics, electronic engineering, automation or a similar field is an advantage
- Enthusiastic about information technology end electronic products
- Customer focus, desire to solve problems and make things happen
- Self-starter, able to prioritize tasks, take responsibility and work under pressure
- Willingness to travel occasionally
- Positive attitude and flexible mindset
