Bola tu uz diskusia o prelomitelnosti md5(). Za pár minut sa realne da prelomit.

mno lenze ked 2krat pouzijes md5, vykon sa tiznizi dvojnasobne(predsalen nieco trva na vypocet retazca). Potom je ovela lepsie pouzit sha1().
To radypala: jj SHA je 160 bytovy oproti MD5 kery ma "pohych" 128 bytov .. :)

ci je to zrovna par minut to neviem (povedal by som ze predsa len dlhsie), nechcem sa hadat. ale nevidim aky to ma dopad na bezpecnost md5. k tomu "prelomeniu" je treba sa o prelomenie snazit, nepocul som ze by sa to nekomu podarilo nahodov.Za pár minut sa realne da prelomit.

neviem co presne myslis tym vypoctom retazca, pokial viem md5() vracia retazec. s tym ze to trva raz tak dlho s tym samozrejme suhlasim. bola tu diskudsia o prelomeni?

tady je neco o prolomení hashovacich funkci, je to starsi... kazdopadne u MD5 se da kolizni retezec opravdu najit v radu nekolika minut... u SHA-1 je tato doba opravdu mnoho nasobne vetsi... kazdopadne pokud se takto ukladaji hesla tak je to hlavne proto ze kdyz nekdo dostane dump DB tak tam ty hesla nevidi v puvodni podobe ale jen ten otisk, proto si myslim ze je MD5 na hashovani hesel dostacujici... ale i presto pouzivatm sha1 jistota je jistota :)

Prominte hloupou otazku. Pochopil jsem dobre, ze funkce HASH je neco co zakoduje co potrebuji treba text : mamto a kdyz ten text: mamto budu kodovat nekdy pozdeji bude vysledek HASH kodovani stejny, ale neda se rozkodovat? Takze se to da pouzit pri prihlasovani uzivatelu.
To Petr: Jo, pochopil jsi to správně a přesně tak se to používá (v databázi je uložen jen HASH hesel, takže nikdo nezjistí konkrétní hesla).
